one i wanted to add: unfollow anyone who reposts someone you've muted.
"do you really want to repost that?" you will be unfollowed by these users: a,b,c
maybe an antisocial pattern ๐

I kinda like the idea
it creates some new awkward social dynamics though
Good.
Awkward social dynamics is perfect for Nostr. It's literally when we shine ๐
best place to experiment with these things for sure
but i have private mute list ๐
No one would be able to boost my stuff. ๐
Oh, well. It was nice knowing all of you.

Just flip the switch, Beave, rather than trying to bully other people. ๐

That's very useful and also super annoying at times for completely opposite and conflicting reasons. ๐คฃ
This is client side. A client *should* be able to check your mute lists and just not serve you content from muted npubs. That is, of course, depending on if the client is built to do this correctly.
Autism ATH with nostr users lol
(said with tongue firmly in cheek)
Where is this?
What I usually do when simply muting a user doesn't work, is add their "@ username" as a word to mute on the muted content filters in a client.
Any Jumble.
It can end up muting entire sections of threads, I know. That's why it isn't usually on. But if you want to unfollow anyone who engages with someone you don't like, you will eventually end up missing large sections of Nostr.
