That's what I meant in the OP by assets already being divvied up politically. That applies on a larger and smaller scale. If you get a job working for a big corp or the gov, making $250k, then you might get the pretty girl and the house on the lake, but why did you get that job? Was it always merit? Mostly nepotism and politics, right, like in the medieval ages. So, does eliminating income entirely just double-down on this effect and entrench it deeper?
