The attack exploited a MongoDB vulnerability and coincided with the Rainbow Six Siege outage and database tampering on December 27-28, 2025. No code has been publicly released yet, and Ubisoft has not officially confirmed the source code theft.

Again? Last time around their build engine for Division got wiped from their servers and they had to literally re-develop the thing. Resulting in an entire Division season being cancelled because they couldn't update the game for weeks.
