I am seeing this to multiple software developers on Nostr in real time.
Once you start letting AI code for you then you get addicted to the faster workflow.
After you are used to the faster workflow you lose the ability to think critically.
When you lose the ability to think critically you can't notice that the quality of your code has turned to utter bug covered shit.
This is why I refuse to vibe code.
It is fine to brainstorm with AI and even to troubleshoot with you, but once you let it do the work for you as your slave. You lose the motiviation and ability to do it yourself. My work may get done slower, but at least I still remember how to do my job right the first time.
