Your posts have inspired me and pushed me closer to taking this kind of public action.
I previously had this unrecognized notion that only after a group of people were upset about something for some time could they organize a group to protest.
It's interesting, because at the same time I know the main point of protesting is to raise awareness about an issue, not to get the offending party to stop their behavior.
And yet, the idea that one person could protest solo to raise awareness never crossed my mind. The first time I saw you post I thought, it was a joke. Like it was some kind of performance art.
But I've seen your pictures week after week. I see the amount of time and effort and passion you're putting into this, and it made me realize one person protesting can make a difference. Inspiring someone an ocean away is already proof of that.
