⚡️🇪🇸 NEW - A Spanish court ordered NordVPN and Proton VPN to block access to specific IP addresses linked to websites illegally streaming LaLiga football matches. >The order requires the VPN providers to render the listed IP addresses inaccessible from Spain using their internal systems. >It applies to a dynamic list, allowing LaLiga to update blocked IPs in real time >The ruling classifies VPN providers as “technological intermediaries” under the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA), holding them responsible for preventing access to infringing content via their infrastructure. - NordVPN and Proton VPN were not notified in advance. - They had no chance to appear in court, present a defense, or challenge the order before it was issued. Both companies have publicly stated they were unaware of the proceedings until LaLiga announced the ruling.

A nu-state trying to supremacymaxxing fails miserably It has been reported that when they do so many important websites get blocked for hours, someone should troll them into blocking their own servers lmao

How about telling this Spanish court to eat shit?
Fingers crossed, but do they have assets to steal inside Spanish jurisdiction? The pompous clowns running my country managed to get Meta, X and YouTube to comply with their age-limits.
Not a member per se, but this is a jurisprudence discussion that I'm realizing is moot. The cantons in SWZ do have some leeway, but not a lot. Was the same case when a bunch of DAOs ran to register there. Either way cases like these will set precedence in court on how optimistic we are about a Swiss incorporation. Let's see what happens.
