Newb to cashu…. When first heard about the lightning address here, quickly set up a npub.cash based on primal npub (previous reply). Then investigated more, set up a new cashu.me wallet, which has its own npub, and see option for npub.cash lightning address. Question is if that mistymountain@npub.cash (primal npub) is useful? Or can only use cashu.me npub based address as that’s from wallet?
You can get a nostr signing extension for your browser and add your nostr key there. Then when you open the settings in cashu.me, choose to use the signing extension in the nostr settings. Cashu.me will then use you primal npub.cash and show your username too. You can also enable the new version of npub.cash (npubx.cash) in the experimental settings
Thank you for the response! I do have have nostore set up for my primal npub, and the extension in browser generally works on web. In the cashu.me that I just set up, in the settings under nostr>your nostr keys I only see Wallet Seed phrase-generate nostr key pair from seed” (which is default selection and I think my new cashu wallet generated a new npub there) or “use your nsec - dangerous.” I don’t see an option for signing in with another existing key/my nostore credentials, to use the primal npub.
