This is something ive been looking for with my young kids. They are old enough to syart using and understanding money but too young to be let loose on the internet and stuck glued to the screens. We go out and I want them to have a physical wallet (device) they have to be responsible for. But im not paying a cell phone line for them to make occasional purchases when we go out. Nor do I want to deal with tethering each time either. It's also difficult to have a self custody setup for them with these constraints. Sounds like offline local mesh networks with beacon fixes this!
