We don't need the government to own Bitcoin to increase prosperity of a nation's individuals. Increasing education on why individuals should adopt Bitcoin as a personal monetary standard, which @strike helps tremendously to do, will do that all on it's own. Bitcoin imposes the new economic system on the world, whether they adopt it now or later the end result is the same. Plus, the longer they take to adopt it the weaker government gets and weak governments foster prosperity while strong governments hinder it. It's just noise. I'm not worried about it, and neither should you. As @Lyn Alden says, "Nothing stops this train".
