How does this system work? I know people who also want to accept Bitcoin in-store and via webshop. Is this easier than other methods?
This was done using Alby Hub on a cloud hosted node (built with LDK) with a getalby.com Lightning address and Zeus wallet as a backup.
No, most custodians don’t operate here because of the restrictions, but anyone can use a self-custodial Lightning node. It’s always been legal to accept bitcoin for products and services.
Yes, and Zeus is only needed as a backup since there’s an Alby Lightning address.
