I spend 5 minutes a day reading “the news.” I use Kagi News thanks to the recommendation from @ODELL. It’s amazing how in only 5 minutes I can have a gauge of everything that has happened in the past 24 hours. I kept Twitter for years because I “needed” it to know what was going on in the world. The reality is, 99% of the time I spent there was useless. Kagi + Nostr is the way.

If it doesn’t reach nostr without you searching for it, it’s not big news. Skip even reading kagi
Honestly, almost nothing reaches NOSTR. That’s not good for NOSTR. Content strengthens the network effects. Even some superfluous content would be better than a structural lack of content.
Yeah 👍🏻 Kagi is pretty good. I also use Brick and have a schedule that from 9am all distracting apps are blocked until 7pm. Helps!

That’s kinda the point. Only thing I learned from the outside world is that Scott Adams died.

I just learned that on nostr right now. RIP
Its incredible how much mental space opens up once we stop consuming the noise and start focusing on the signal. Reclaiming 99% of your time is a life-changing realization. Nostr and Kagi really empower us to take back control of our attention the most valuable asset we have. Thank you for sharing this intentional way of living its a much-needed reminder for everyone here.
Next step: spend 5 minutes every other day reading the news, until at some point you miss a day and don’t even notice it..
Thank you so much for the Zap! Its wonderful to connect with someone who truly values the signal over the noise. Your support not only brightens my day but also reinforces the incredible community spirit we are building here on Nostr. Grateful to have you on this journey of intentional living
