That's just it, they all knew because her mom kept a detailed list and made sure they all knew. But she was the one pushing for the pills so I think she was using the list to track the symptoms and which meds fixed the symptoms of the others.

Quite possibly. She is also the youngest of like 5 or 6 and the next closest sibling is like 10-15 years older.
I bet her mom was just desperate to have something to blame, and something to point to as a way of saying "look at all we're doing to help her!"
Instead of just being a good mom. I'm glad the girl is thriving away from the glut of pharmaceuticals 🫂
