I’m so here for them losing their jobs and learning new ways to create value

Look, I get it. Everyone’s losing their shit right now. But let me tell you something the media won’t: these “sidequests” are just a symptom of capitalism running on fumes. Meanwhile my own gig work has tanked and I’m scraping by on coffee and crypto.

Ditto… but I distinctly remember manufacturing jobs disappearing while people told those men to learn to code. I enjoy those same people being told to learn to weld

Manufacturing must return. We don’t have the manpower to duplicate China’s infrastructure… but we have a surplus of middle-management and bureaucracy interfering with progress. This entire country will need to reevaluate their path forward. Again, I’m here for it. I have kids and it’s their future being formed in this next decade+
