What’s up nostr 🤙 “Busy” seems to be the theme this year. All good things, but I miss the hourly nostr scroll. I had a few minutes free for play yesterday, so I upgraded the fan on both #bitaxe miners with near-silent Noctua fans. My wife is happy, I’ll say that much 😂 Next up will be chunky heatsinks. Open to recommendations #asknostr

Awesome! Are you pool mining or are they lotto miners? Very interested in getting a similar set up for myself, but everything I keep reading tells me it isn’t worth it

So worth it 😁 run one as a lotto and one with a pool. Sats flow is slow of course, but they’ll appreciate! It’s an excellent learning experience. Also, modifying the hardware is proving to be quite fun (and addictive), and I’ve just dipped my toe in

My wife is also annoyed with the fan when she’s sitting at our desk doing bookwork lol Maybe I’ll upgrade to keep her happy. 😆

It’s worth it! They’re like $20 on Amazon and incredibly easy to install. One snag was that these particular bitaxes came with mini version of the 4-pin socket for the fan’s cord, so I needed an adaptor. But it was like $3 from solosatoshi and required next to no effort 🤙
