No where in the above paragraph did I insult my parents. What i’m expressing is that, like many of us, I had to unlearn and undo patterns, baggage, and unhealthy dynamics that were passed down. It’s not about blaming them as people, but about choosing a different path. If that’s an insult to them then it is what it is.

That’s the dumbest comment I’ve ever read on here. There are many incapable people that happen to bring kids into this world that deserve zero respect.
