Today 90% of computers in China run Windows. This is 5% more than 3 years ago, when the party announced its support for Kylin Linux to explicitly get rid of American software stacks. This is the true power of Microsoft. They can ban virtually every software company, but not Microsoft. Don't use Windows.

I use still use it for gaming and some software like photoshop but I have KVM switch with a Linux desktop that I use as my main computer. I've never had a virus on windows since I started using this setup. If I use a windows computer only, nothing by spyware and viruses all the time.
There will soon be 19 sanction packages against Russia. Since 2014, only the laziest politicians haven’t declared their support for Linux, yet the share of Windows PCs hasn’t decreased even in state enterprises.

Every pc in my house ran Linux at one point. Even had a custom router pc I built from Linux from scratch. The long arm of windows made its way back in. 😂
sir I love my windows machine, just look how nice is doing. Can you do that with other system? image 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is not true. Windows is more like 30% share in China. There has been a major shift away from Windows in China for a while towards some domestically produced Linux variants. Government computers can no longer run Windows, this was a plan 10 years in the making. Obviously this is just looking at computers, if you extend this to includes phones (which is the only device for many Chinese), then Windows is nowhere.
