Mate, you really think the Controllers of this world are retarded.
Somehow they've managed to enslave the vast majority of the population for centuries, or perhaps millennia, while being retarded.
I like your take more than mine though, so I hope you're right.

You are projecting you're value lens onto people who dont have it. The overwhelming majority, especially politicians and those with true political power, see Bitcoin as a toy. It isn't a concenr because its small and unthreatening.
Of course I don't see governments as full of people who are retarded. I do however see it as an institution full of people who are *arrogant,* and arrogance makes people blind. Specifically, blind to things that have humble beginnings, dismissed as if they could never threaten their power structure.
This isn't new either, things with humble beginnings are almost universally dismissed by the established structure of power throughout all of history. It didn't make any of them stupid. It made them to blinded by their own importance to see that their paradigm could be changing.
I have the same concerns and similar thoughts about the future of bitcoin. It is probably the only hope for personal financial freedom, otherwise a dystopian authoritarian future is likely.
The groups in the highest orders, or with the most control over the current system, will not let go without a serious fight. The fact that Blackrock etc are gobbling shares has been beneficial for the short term price gains of btc, but I’m skeptical the etfs will be a benefit for those who seek financial freedom in the future.
