96 was the start for me, Toronto, Canada. abandoned warehouses, secret passwords, convenience store dealers. Then after 2001 it went mainstream in the downtown financial district (how ironic). Now its been gentrified, non existent scene. No such thing as "underground" here anymore. Its ok, im old now anyway and just play the tunes while im gardening 😉
