New to Nostr, Primal my jumping in point. So to participate in that or other Nostr communities, you need to log in- but to do so need to enter private Nostr keys? The ones generated by your original client? Sounds scary, thanks for info

You can use your private key to login to zap.cooking, or you can use an extension like @Alby or @npub1tnpf...kkpe to login from a browser.
You don't have to expose your private key. You can use an app like Alby or NostrConnect to sign your authentication requests on the nostr network.
