I want to give a shout out to @Simon James⚡️ and @LaserEyesCards for doing something really cool. A couple months ago I posted a mockup of the “nostrcard” (see below) just as a fun idea. Several people liked it and said they wanted one if they were real. So in true Nostr fashion a nostrich stepped up and made it happen. Si from Laser Eyes Cards asked me if they could make some nostrcards, and even said if any sold they’d give back a #value4value split for use of the design. LFG 💜🚀 Si followed through and DM’d me last week that he had some sweet #v4v sats to send me. The nostrcard ACTUALLY SOLD! And now I’ll be putting these sats back into the nostr economy paying for services and zapping other content and creators. This is a great example of the power of #v4v and a glimpse of what can be done with a circular evening on nostr and bitcoin. Check out the nostrcard on the Laser Eyes Cards website below. They price everything in sats, so when Bitcoin is on sale (like right now) so are their cards. 🔥🚀 https://lasereyes.cards/buy-now/nostrcard

Who wants a #Nostrcard ? All our prices at @LaserEyesCards are denominated in sats, so when Bitcoin is on sale, so are our products. https://lasereyes.cards/buy-now/nostrcard/

was hard going, they're both very clever bods and I didn't know what a lot of things meant ( 'discounts' especially) but managed to finish and now have a slightly better grasp of capital... after it was explained in terms of mud 😅
Yeah, I can understand that. I’m lucky, where I read multiple economics books prior to this one, making the information easier to absorb. It did take me a little while to adjust to their writing style though. It reminded me of Maps of Meaning, where no sentence is wasted and very specifically crafted. I don’t think I’d feel comfortable recommending the complete book to newbies. However, some of the sections/essays are very well written and could easily be understood by anyone. With only 30 pages left, I’m feeling a little sad the experience is coming to an end.
