Yep. It’s a lot of noise. Rizful is custodial. Cashu is custodial. Spark is trust-minimized. All of this infrastructure works fine as long as the operators don’t collude and rug you, and nuke their reputations in the process. There are always risks in doing anything in bitcoin, including running your own node which comes with channel management expenses and chance of hardware failures. Running a node is awesome, but you can easily lose money on it. In the meantime, users still have to start somewhere.
