Nice, sharp contributions. There may and must be criticism from time to time, especially of one's own functioning within the #v4v and #nostr. Everyone will benefit from this contributions (in the long run). Musicians, listeners, developers, readers and visitors of the #v4v and #nostr. I am curious about the reaction of @Wavlake By the way, I have only recently noticed LN Beats and I support musicians on both platforms.

I don't care that Wavlake takes 10% and I don't care that they have a custodial wallet. People are willing to pay for the service they provide. I want them to know there's alternatives that may align more with their pocket book or values, but I use gmail, so I understand people making the choice for convenience and understanding the pros and cons of it. I'll always recommend self-hosting your music, because it's dead simple and super cheap, but I'm cool with different strokes for different folks. What I'm not cool with is Wavlake is the largest v4v music player, and they don't allow all of the v4v music to be played in their player. That makes them a closed garden. nostr and podcasting are platforms in which content is available across whichever client the listener chooses. When Wavlake doesn't allow certain content in, I can't support that. As soon as they allow all music to be played in their player, I'll calm down with the Wavlake critique.
