🙋‍♀️ Yes! this is right up my alley. Lots of great accounts on here, and I think everyone on Nostr who is interested in regenerative ag will resonate with the other points as well. You're probably already following RevHold, but there are a ton more of us! We're at a relatively early stage on our land, but I'm obsessed with silvopasture and we're looking at browse blocks/hedges as well as trees.

I don’t align with your bullet points, but I make and post stained glass windows if you’re into that
The pasture that my family has had access to since my mom was a little girl is 12 acres and it’s a great resource. My bulls are hanging out there right now. I’m amazed how much steep ground the cows can access. Both species at once could be a good option. I won’t own a sheep but I have someone I may start custom grazing them for and we have some goats around.
Our cows can definitely manage the steep ground just fine- I'm impressed! - but they do a number on it. Lots of bare muddy patches after they've been there (depending on the weather/time of year), which is much harder to regrow than flatter areas. Great that there's a family history to your pasture!

I'd say that fits in the building community/buisness category 😉👍🏻

I work in Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
If it is intensively grazed in between longer periods of rest, some of that traffic can be a net benefit to the soil. It’s just a management thing.

I see you’re on Substack. You may already know but I’d recommend Paul kingsnorth and wrath of gnon. I think wrath of gnon is on here too… I wish more of the brilliant substackers would come over here. Idk how much they get paid by Substack but nostr is better

I’ve thought about blogging/wringing some stuff. Previously I thought I’d make a website…but I would get no exposure that way. Nostr seems like a good midway point between totally centralized (Substack) and completely independent (website). Exposure would land somewhere between those two….
