Another Bitcoin affinity scam. Just what we need.
that's why im playing both sides.
im not abandoning the legacy chain to the demons. and also im gonna buy lots of blake chain coins.
im gonna make sure software i make has support or version flr both. etc.
*for (not flr)
I am here to fix Bitcoin.
That’s what all shitcoiner say.
😂
Could exchanges even offer it? All bought bip110 coin would go straight to self custody because of who is buying it and if the price is too low and we start draining their reservers they get exposed for their paper bitcoin practices really quickly.
The biggest good is separating from core. They now can do all the tail emission and shitcoin stuff they want, and all the idiot core worshipers can run their pruned nodes and think they still matter. The hardest money will win eventually.
I'm in. Do we go back to mining on lap tops, etc ? Any speculation on exchanges willing to take shit coins off our hands ? Any chance of coming up with a good coin name ? Who is Blake ?
No you’ll still need asics.
Probably temporarily on exchanges if traded enuff.
Blake2b is the hashing algorithm
hashing ALGO should never be FIXED or centralized one
changing it is not real core change
Luke's idea is beyond impact of just hashing
so hard fork just new chain -> except OLD HODLERS are HONORED.
If that's the biggest advantage, then I prefer the upcoming ecash hard fork, at least we get drivechains, small L1 blocks, and scalability instead of simply partially removing spam
do you think sparrow won't connect with a knots-blake2b node ? (wallet cli should be basically the same ...)
Let us know what the plan is for a miner activated soft fork that increases the supply of bitcoin against nodes’ will.
Everyone is making the shit so fucking complicated & partisan. 🫠
We could just do this instead & keep everyone together. 🤙

At least BIP110 failing made this painfully obvious. The only defence Bitcoin has against malicious miners is a UASF or a POW change. The former got ignored by all pools, so in a centralised mining future the outcome won’t be any different. The only thing left is the nuclear option: a hard fork for a POW change, and we’re doing that. See the year below:

I think it should be reverse engineered to do that, but people have already stepped up and are ready to do it.
Go for it 🤙
it should be painfully obvious at this point that bitcoin core is going to do whatever their masters tell them to do, as they have been since "core" got added to the name in 2014 when the cooption started and blockstream dominated the funding for developers.
it should also be painfully obvious but most of you reading were not around bitcoin back when the first big bloom of forks hit. blake2b already has an asic, most of them are probably mothballed at the moment. it was for Sia. they switched again and probably a lot of that aluminium got recycled but for sure anyone who had the space and money to store them, they are sitting there waiting for the blake2b fork that everyone is talking about. not to mention the fact that you can rent GPUs by the minute to run any hash function you like at a seriously high hashrate. if you understood how bitcoin (and bitcoin-blake2b's) difficulty adjustment regime works, you will understand that within a few minutes it will be possible to raise the difficulty so high that nobody can mine new blocks for days, maybe weeks.
the real solution is changing the difficulty adjustment but almost nobody in the whole world hardly understands how it works, or has enough experience with alternatives, who isn't trying to rob retail, to build a credible one.
if only there was someone who knew, and could build one that would actually survive, but not even just survive, but lure bitcoin miners across and crash bitcoin core chain hashrate severely. that would be hilarious.
We're all going for all the hard forks unless actively selling
I’d be selling the “ecash” right away. Eventually Bitcoin-SHA256d. I’ll keep the Bitcoin-BLAKE2b for as long as it aligns with the Bitcoin idea.
I dont understand the argument that Bitcoin is captured. If bip-110 had 15% nodes of the network forcing soft fork on mining pool and the rest was not runing nodes that where forcing bip-110. How is that showing that, bitcoin is captured by centelized mining pools who decide what for get green light? If 85% of the Network didnt run bip-110 it seems to me like consensus working the way it was designed. Plese explain me if my understanding is not correct.
Miners dont control bitcoin, the economic majority do. Bip110 wasnt stopped by miners lol.
So what’s the plan?
It’s not the economic majority, it’s the economic minority, ie Big Bitcoin. So you’re kinda right.
Plam for what?
The next MASF. Or the one after that. Or the next that includes tail emissions. You guys have a big problem in Bitcoin-SHA256 and still don’t realise it. It’s much worse than spam. I believe you don’t fully grasp the gravity of what happened on 8/8/26.
Until witness discount is removed we do not conserve energy properly.
The only people forking was a tiny minority od bip110ers. Cope harder, you didnt have consensus.
Cope about what? That you were stripped of the only reasonable defence against bad protocol changes (ie the UASF)? We coped for a week and now we’re acting on the final (nuclear) option to preserve the Bitcoin idea from being completely corrupted and taken over. Join us or stay on the poolchain, makes no difference to us. We only need committed people, not simply numbers. It’s not fiat price that drives us.
It sure is fiat that drives you, or u wouldnt do an affinity scam.
lol, ok
I hope this helps you understand:

What about economic nodes? Lyn alden said that without them there is no chance for a fork to get green light - from what i found that's what happen with SegWit bip-148 in 2017.
Exchanges and businesses announced in advance that after August 1st they would only recognize the chain compliant with SegWit.
Lyn Alden is regarded.
I have an ASIC !
But does it mine the Blake algo
We can explain it to you, but we can understand it for you.
Price doesn't drop by 99% because of what ever decision you link it to. It's worth nothing because you and 300 other people are the only ones with a demand for this coin because it is... A shitcoin.
It doesn't need to be reverse engineered, it's fully open source and the changes are minimal. Only a few tiny changes to the code at most to support the new sighash type and maybe a couple odds and ends, if I'm not mistaken.
No one is required to run code they push. We do it voluntarily...
Yeah, like the taxes lor
"I'm wrong but I can't admit it"
I'll trade you my luke coins in exchange for your Bitcoin.
It sure will... And already has.
How long does it need to fail to flip Bitcoin for you to admit you're wrong. Serious question.
No one's gunna come to my door with guns when I change my node software.
"or maybe you need a Monero"
taxation anddrug prosecutions are exemplary punishments. In neither case they can prosecute everyonethat is how extortion works.
With bitcoin it was a shaming campaign. Same principle, different gun.
Poor logic & misinformation being spread here unfortunately.
Ok fed
blockstream controls the majority of bitcoin core devs. surprisingly, bitcoin core devs promote policies that blockstream favors. and saylor and a whole cadre of influencoors strangely also promote the same positions.
you could accuse conspiracy theory bout you could also just say that they know who butters their bread. not the plebs running the nodes, and not the hodlers.
does that sound like peer to peer cash to you?
