In a lot of ways, I think opting to use “rage-bait-algorithm-free” social media protocols like Nostr, is one of the best ways we can resist the intentionally divisive and dehumanizing effects of centralized social media. I think the operators of the big centralized platforms bear a lot of responsibility for the division and hate we see in the world today.
