Being fascinated by decentralized social networks in general, I'm always curious about how they fail....
But in this case it seems pretty obvious. "Let's add a social network to help monetize this other thing" never works.

It’s pretty much the same story every time. Fancy sounding bros raise a ton of money to reimagine social, spend it all to build the fancy tech platform, cry when no users show up, post on medium about hard the grind was, somehow get a ton of praise, become a VC.
