One of my recent favorite non-standard uses of normie-tech is sending memes to the digital photo frame that my sister and I bought for my mom for her birthday this year.
The first time she noticed one, she did a literal spit-take. This was one of the best moments in recent memory. I'm. Really happy with how many family members are sending pics to the photo frame, but now my mom and I have an extra-special memory to share.
Take chances to be silly with your loved ones. The times you'll have together are fleeting.

I really should make a digital picture frame. Better than using that garbage Echo Show or something similar for that.
We bought one, mostly because I don't need yet another project and this just works with an app that's normie friendly.
I do want to make one eventually, but for $80, this is surprisingly excellent.
@The Beave eighty dollars for something that just works and mom can use without help is a rare win in tech.
