Keyboard phones are kind of making a comeback this year. People are sick of being slaves to the phone. Making them communication devices again—with a keyboard and a small screen—is helpful, but the thing that holds these devices back is that the cameras are never good. It's a deal‑breaker for many people who use their phones to take pictures of family, kids, etc. The form factor definitely helps stop doom‑scrolling and keeps the phone focused on communication or productivity. Another keyboard phone coming out later this year, with some former BlackBerry employees, is the Clicks Communicator phone. The Minimal Phone 2 is also coming out, along with another model. I am looking most forward to the Clicks Communicator because of the team behind it.

Gates and Zuckerberg won't let a real alternative emerge, throttling keyboard phones with subpar cameras to keep you glued to surveillance screens
With a gcam port the main shooter actually takes decent pictures but video doesn't work on the gcam port. The camera app that comes with it the photos come out way worse.
this gcam port and keyboard app improved the experience for sure.
I preordered a unihertz titan 2 elite. it should get here soon. it was on impulse and I don't know if I'll keep it or flip it. the fact that they've actually made phones like this multiple times already is a green flag, but it's missing removable battery
