Probably true, but it does limit the attack surface to use amber. From the end user's perspective, I would prefer to only expose my nsec to amber instead of the number of clients I'm using. I, for one, would love to see Wisp support amber again. One of the huge promises of nostr in general is that you keep your following (and follows) with you regardless of client. I can understand why some would treat their nsec as a throwaway, but I don't think "influencers" would think of it that way. I think they would want it as secure as possible. Especially when there's no central authority to assist when you get hacked.
I guess there's a balance. This app can be more of a step 0, sandbox nostr experience for those who may be inclined to explore nostr further, and others might just enjoy playing in the sandbox. Neither camp is using it seriously. As long as the sandbox is safe (like no NWC, relay footguns, etc), it'll fill a unique niche.
