I left $%!#er when it was still Twitter, in ‘17. We stand alone as the #nostr-only horde! This is fine. I am not a joiner.

GM! it does feel quiet sometimes, but I really appreciate the community of bitcoiners and builders.

Only Nostr, and Tiktok (Tiktok get every month worser than the previous months 😮‍💨) I NEVER LIKED Twitter: "only a few interesting accounts", because "Twitter/X overall is => too much 🔎chaos/drama = loud nonsense NOISE🫥, and mostly bad information, no nuance" 😓
My Twitter account dates back to early 2008. It was actually fun back then, even when it was broken. Somewhere around 5-7 years later it started to take turn for the worse, and by late 2022 it was just insufferable. I can’t imagine going back to becoming a consumer of that media sewer after experiencing the freedom of being a builder.
I consider myself to be pretty Twitter-free. I'll go glance at it when that's where some information is, you know, like a link in an article, that kind of thing. Or, if that's the only way I can easily ping somebody. But I wouldn't want to go back because I think the way I left the algorithm all it does is shows me these weird, you're a genius if you can solve this math problem posts. Nostr is actual digital community or something pure and close to it. Twitter is the sloppiest slop of all slops.
I mega agree, in the process of leaving fb for the exact same reason, i see it now as a pure dopamine hit machine complete with withdrawal symptoms basically an addictive drug designed to grab your attention for Hours of useless stuff, sort of the battle between the communication v consumer social media.
I am never going back to xitter, or meta's mass manipulation medias. image
