The new lettuce bed, seeded first row. I’ll take care of those weeds… Black fabric below the white. White fabric for reflective and cooler summer temps with lettuce. Giving it a try. Will plant five rows total 7-10 days apart. 80 holes per row. Used a weed torch to singe the cut holes so they don’t run. Fun stuff. Let’s go… Garden On. 🪴🫦☑️

One Bitcoin is 100,000,000 Satoshis or sats. To grow 100,000,000 kernels of corn you would need ~5.68 acres of land planting 22,000 corn plants per acre. Planting a total of 125,000 corn plants. There are 10,416 dozen in 125k. If you sold a dozen for $9 you would generate $93,750 or at todays Bitcoin price of $25809 would net 3.632453795187725Bitcoin. Corn is a Bitcoiners slang term for Bitcoin. Your analogy is math either way. It would be valuable to convert corn into Bitcoin. 😁

Here’s a pretty cool story from the garden this morning… My grandparents had a turkey farm when I was young, 1970s to ~1990. My grandmother had the biggest garden with the best asparagus every spring. In 1990, the town bought the property and kept it as open space, mowed. In 2019, establishing my new farm, I thought: wonder if grandma’s asparagus is still there. I went back in the spring and found two sprigs!! I dug them out and brought them back to my new garden. This is now their forth season getting established. I call the two bunches: grandma and grandpa. My great grandfather planted this asparagus in that old garden in 1967!! We have yet to taste any. Maybe this year will be our first. Pretty cool?

What a gorgeous day here out in the dirt. Scratching with the cultivator, getting the corn plots ready and warmed. 🌞 I could really use another 7000 corn seeds.
