The #bitcoin ledger is growing by roughly 100GB per year.
In two years, we’re all going to have to upgrade our nodes to 2TB SSDs.
I also don’t think raspberry Pi’s will be a viable option any longer. The Pi 4 took a whole week to sync both the node and electrum.
Recently low fees are a godsend.
I’m glad I am able to finish my UTXO consolidation before the halving.

Our current epoch that about to end in a month equates to half of the size of the entire #bitcoin blockchain. 🤯

Hide Kojima pretty much predicted the future with Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 4.
These games really shows how much of a visionary he is.
Ok, it’s more like 15% of the blockchain. But it’s still pretty crazy to think that the last two epochs represent 85% of the activity so far on Bitcoin.

It’s crazy to think #bitcoin wasn’t even $8,000 CAD then.
