Lagarde: We are not seeing a wage-price spiral... The sooner the better in terms of when do we bring inflation back to 2%, but we have also to be realistic and measured in the response that we give.” She then explains that rising unit labour costs did contribute to the upward revision to eurozone core inflation forecasts.
If bitcoin were bicycle pedals... It would be these safe knee friendly automatic pedals from Time. They are 27 years young, bombproof reliable.
simplest way to grow nutrient rich sprouts for forage for chickens etc. 7 day cycle. Handful of grains.
Fountain podcasting app has come on leaps and bounds since recent update. Except it conflicts with iris.to
UAE at next COP, slash fossil fuel emissions by mining bitcoin at the source of methane leaks. You're welcome.
Hey @odell Somehow the open source community that values privacy is going to have to provide an iris scan level of identity proof online. The digital world is going to get nuts, bitcoin will be the only reliable digital entity, maybe the most valuable nft is our iris scan uploaded to the bitcoin blockchain. If not, the idea of building a web5 world on top of bitcoin will be a privacy swiss cheese... Logically, the public- private key relationship between bitcoin and me is secure whereas the public-private key relationship between content creators on Nostr, Vida and me is open to manipulation. Why? Because Bitcoin is inviolable pure math, and whilst anyone or anything can try to dupe me with a false bitcoin , the cryptographic node concensus protected bitcoin blockchain will provide 100% truthful verification and reject false claims on bitcoin. On the other hand the identity of content creators who rely solely on digital proof of their identity can be aped or hijacked by AI because their identity is not verifiable to the same impeccable standard as demonstrated by bitcoins blockchain standards. In a CGI world you cannot prove reality online by saying online " this is me". That ship has sailed with AI and voice recognition. Even if you are on video and other people you recognise are in a room saying "this is us and we verify this is him", there can be no certainty that AI isn't behind a scam. Worldcoin may be dystopian, but our iris is an inviolable individual human identifier and web5 privacy advocate software app builders need to somehow provide that level of proof in a decentralised way.
Modern humans are great in emergencies but increasingly hopeless at preventing emergencies from happening in the future. And completely inept at visualising exponential change. Climate change is too big a concept for most of us to conceptualise, let alone work out how to react smart and responsibly. As a result, climate change deniers have a field day and climate scientists have so little impact changing minds. So let's keep it simple. Everyone surely understands: there are consequences to shitting on your own doorstep. Ecosystems are breaking down before our eyes. They need restoring. If left to deteriorate, everyone will learn soon enough that broken ecosystems lead to hydrological breakdown, which drives changes in rainfall which is game over for stable life on earth. Everyone knows how to stop polluting. If we choose to keep wrecking local ecosystems, and remain paralysed and defiant that the climate is just fine, then shame on mankind.
Just signed up to Nostr? Want to post a blog on #blogstack? That was a head scratcher for this nostr novice who uses Firefox on mobile. Here is what I learnt. I am sure I am not the only non-dev Twitter refugee type who is proud and relieved just to be set up on Nostr with a barebones public/private key and see my account in Iris or Amethyst. What if, like me, you wonder if you can blog on this amazing network and you pitch up at blogstack.io (or habla.news) on a mobile phone (or desktop)? Well, you just see a list of latest posts. No way to login or post, no apparent instructions, not that I could see. What they don't make obvious on their websites, but what does appear in the meta description in search results is: you need an extension / add-on to get started 1 - If you are on mobile and use Firefox, you are out of luck. 2 - If you are on desktop and use Firefox search for nos2x-fox install manage, and in preferences add your Nostr private key. image 3 - If you are on desktop and Chrome want to use a Chromium add-on, knock yourself out. 4 - If you are on desktop and want a one-stop integrated way to set up a Nostr account, lightning wallet and signing extension look at the popular #Alby app. With a signing extension in play on your browser, you are auto recognised when you browse the rest of the Nostr universe, without having to submit your private key. When you go to blogstack.io now, you have the option to login, write a draft in markup, which is actually a pretty cool option, and publish. From blogstack you can copy the URL of your post and promote it in your Nostr chat client, or anywhere in centralised social media land. Hope that helped and maybe the apps in the Nostr eco system could make a concerted effort to make these extension private key signers obvious to utter newbies who haven't been herded straight to Alby. 😀
This provides access to paywall content https://12ft.io/ Sites that want the best of both worlds ( free search marketing and a fee) have to show Google bots a version to index in search results. Boom.
