GM Spent 2 hours rose gardening for cash yesterday. Getting too old for that shite. 🫠 I am so sore and I keep finding scratches from those blooming bloodthirsty bastard bushes. The things I do for extra fiat to turn into sats. Today hubby and I headed to a local spot for some metal detecting. Found nothing worth diffing for but we are still practicing. The next couple weekends we plan to head for the beaches, now that the tourists will head home.

GM I have to cram five days of work into three days. 😁 Maybe it's mental but I love doing that. Every once in a while you have to remind the boss why he gives you such generous bonuses. GM Have to break the habit of looking at the news over morning coffee.😳 Instead I think I'll keep my focus on the things within my grasp and fire up the YouTubeUniversity. I'm trying to relearn to sew. Skills you don't use are skills you start to lose. Had to pack away the machine again to make room for life but one day I'm going to have the space I need.

GM A busy weekend of prepping the RV for camping lies ahead. There will be fire, snacks, lots of work and cleaning, and then perhaps a Scrabble or Cribbage battle over burgers tonight. 😁 It's going to be great, a needed break from a really weird work week. Show me your camping/outdoor pics! We'll be headed to a pond in a few weeks. Small fish and too many people but with still secluded little pockets we get tucked into to get some fish to fry.

GM Stormy, dark, and sleepy Friday. Thankfully Boss is out of office today so I can just review client arrest videos. It's a sadly repetitive task because the people cops encounter are often terribly predictable. And impaired. Which reminds me, it's also Shut the Fuck Up Friday. I sound like these two while clients are trying, on video, to plead their case while being arrested. Do not do that. Shut the fuck up. #GM #STFU

GM Had a busy fun weekend planned. Then I woke up at 3 a.m. yesterday with a day-long migraine...so now I have a very, very busy Sunday of getting the necessities taken care of. 😅 Migraine's gone though so today will be 1000% better than yesterday. Make yours a great one, nostriches. #GM #Sunday

GM There was a lot more yard work than anticipated this weekend. So I'm sore as hell and the sewing machine is still out.😅 Oh well. There's always evening project-time. But now, coffee. GM Just gonna turn on all the lights and pretend it's a sunny day outside while I bop around in my little apartment. Today we are salvaging towels with frayed edges and making new scrunchies. But first, coffee. Then I have to rearrange my entire room to create a space for the sewing machine. It's a pain to set up so once it's out, the sewing goes all day. I'm hoping my patch-it-up pile will be gone by tonight. Hopefully this leaves me no time to doom-scroll today. 🫣 #GM #sewing #Saturday

GM Free old lady advice of the day ~ Exercise and STRETCH today. Repeat every day. Your body is taking notes that don't get reviewed and compiled until you are about 50. In other news, about a quarter of my body is tweaking TF out. Apparently this is what happens now when I don't see my masseuse for three weeks and then try to move an awkward piece of furniture. 😅 Oh well. Gonna have a good day anyway. Hope y'all do too.
