A long, long time ago, I was banned from Twitter for memes. My feelings are still hurt!
Some tips how to bypass EU age verification and other EU restrictions.
A) Set your location on all accounts you have to Switzerland, USA, or another country outside the EU. This applies to all SoMe accounts and so on. You should do this already now, before the law comes into force.
B) Get yourself a VPN and secure email. I recommend Proton, which is located in Switzerland and subject to their data protection laws. They offer super-fast VPN, secure email, and a bunch of other privacy services in one package.
C) If you have the opportunity, get yourself some crypto. It doesn't matter much what kind. The main thing is that you have an alternative payment type for the VPN that bypasses any payment restrictions from the EU.
D) If you're not that fond of crypto, you can alternatively use payment services like Wise, which allow you to make payments through a third party in a country outside the EU.
E) Set up an alternative DNS on your home network or PC. It could be, for example, OpenDNS. This way, you effectively bypass DNS blocks from the state.
F) If you really want to go all-in, get yourself a Starlink. I'm a bit doubtful about how effective it is, though, since Elon can also be subjected to restrictions within the EU.
G) Use privacy focused browser, like Brave, that has also TOR network support, if available, use only TOR websites.
Additionally, it's a good idea to boycott companies that use age verification to access their services. Give them shitty reviews on Trustpilot, Google, and so on.
It shouldn't be free to participate in the EU's mass surveillance of citizens.
The Digitalization Agency is also coming with their version of age verification, called AltID. Don't install that app. It's completely voluntary whether you want to use it. So don't.
These things are not hard to set up. It takes a maximum of two-three hours. Help each other and your neighbors if possible

By deafult, when loggin into Primal web app there is only blue button named "New Note". To get to the button to write a new Read there are a couple of ways for this
1. Via the Reads tab
When you're on the Reads tab (primal.net/reads) in the web app, there should be a "New Article" or pencil/compose button that appears contextually — similar to how the "New Note" button appears on the home feed. Navigating to the Reads tab first puts you in the long-form context.
2. Via your profile page
Go to your own profile and look for an "Articles" tab. From there you should see a button to create a new article alongside any you've previously published.
3. Bookmark the URL
The most reliable workaround for a free user is simply to bookmark primal.net/myarticles in your browser — that takes you straight to the article editor every time, making it just as quick as a button click.
