How to force small and mid-sized banks to fail or merge with “too big to fail” banks: 1. flood economy with stimmy checks 2. force banks to take duration risk with longer term bond to remain profitable with flood of deposits from stimmy checks 3. Jack up interest rates quickly sending bond prices underwater 4. Create economic conditions where mass withdrawals create runs on banks where bonds need to be sold at a loss 5. Bail out TBTF banks so that they can takeover smaller banks 6. Introduce CBDCs to totally control us.
Opt out… stack sats.
That's all we need... even bigger to fail.
"The more the Federal Reserve tries to push interest rate increases and quantitative tightening in this business cycle, the more they will likely benefit the mega-cap J.P. Morgan Chase’s of the world over the small community banks, as reserves will likely continue to drain out of the smaller banks and threaten their liquidity profiles." @Lyn Alden
