If I can provide a feature suggestion for those who use @YakiHonne on phones with automatic theme switching enabled, an option that allows for that in the settings while letting you pick your light and dark mode appearances would be nice. I'm partial to the Noir theme myself, but don't always want a dark mode, especially when I'm out and about with the sun on my screen; I know plenty of people either always use light (wew) or dark mode, but there's a lot more that use both themes intelligently.

At this stage, my OS consensus is this: • Windows is absolutely fucking garbage, and if you can actively make it less garbage for as long as it allows (Atlas, ReviOS, TinyOS, etc.), you're already having a better experience than the majority of those using stock. • macOS hasn't been something worth using since Mavericks, and Apple has committed to making it more bloated and convoluted at the UI and UX level. • Linux has (and is) actively become sabotaged by political ideologues and maliciously incompetent "programmers" that prop up Rust as THE LANGUAGE™ and hastily rewrite core components and libraries to pass them off as inferior substitutes to what worked before; when not doing that, they'll kill off legacy programs that work fine, and punish those for resisting bad faith attempts at killing shit that works by purging anything they've ever done. • BSD is something I cannot comment on, since I don't have hardware that can run it past one update (thanks for letting me somewhat try you out, Nomad). The Linux shit (which I've observed over the last three years or so) pissed me off so much that it ended up pushing me back for Windows, which I wasn't at all happy with; you don't even have the "least shitty" option anymore, because none of what's available provides the least awful experience. It's all equally shit, with differing methods at mitigating and avoiding the worst of what each operating system have built-in. At this point, you're better off just not bothering trying to make something less awful, because you're going to have a perpetual uphill battle.
