Welp, I finally got around to upgrading my node from Bitcoin Core v29.3 to Bitcoin Knots v29.3. Also switched from Tor-only to Tor+clearnet.
Been wanting to do this for several weeks, and glad I was finally able to get to it.

Ride 14. 60-minute endurance. I pulled a couple of all nighters at the end of last week and was wrecked for the weekend. I did a partial ride on Sunday but did not count or post it because I only finished a third of the prescribed Over Under intervals. I was just too tired. Woke up today feeling refreshed and much stronger than last week, so I kept it steady for 60 minutes and focused on smooth cadence and consistent power. Small step forward.
PSA: if you are thinking about changing careers to become a litigation attorney, let me tell you: do not do it.

Ride #13. Rode later than usual because of work. Kept it steady and focused on consistent power and smooth cadence. Not a long session, but it did what it needed to do: move the legs, clear the head, and add another hour of base.

Ride 12. Active recovery. Kept it lighter than my usual endurance recovery today. HRV has been a little low the last few days, so the goal was simple movement and easy spinning. Nothing to chase, just giving the body room to settle and reset.
Oh, and TrainerRoad gave me a new Functional Threshold Power of 239w, a 16.6% increase from my starting point 12 days ago. Itβs still a long way off from my peak 2025 numbers, but it reflects the progress I am making.

Ride #11. VO2 Max intervals never feel good. They hit fast and they stay uncomfortable. I got through the work today feeling strong, but I was absolutely ready for it to be over. Another session in the bank. Another step toward durability.

Ride #10. Easy endurance spin. Work pushed the ride later, but the legs cooperated. Wrapped the day with a filetβandβshrimp surf and turf because recovery is 90% vibes.
