I haven’t been on here in quite a while. What did I miss? I’ve been focusing on real life, my family, farm stuff. I realized I didn’t check the “value” of bitcoin in over eight months. Whenever the topic comes up (with the few people in my life who know I’m into it), I explain it’s a thirty year horizon for me. Doesn’t really matter what it’s “value” is day to day.

Haven’t been on nostr in a while. Do I have any friends still around?

Sorting seeds, reviewing inventories, gathering and learning all the time. And I’m doing it with an attitude of appreciation and love for my family - banishing anger regarding the “state of things” and embracing that I was born for this time. You?

Another question for the #plebchain brain trust!! How do I get started no KYC bitcoin in Canada 🇨🇦? I have a separate wallet waiting for this, and I think I could handle bisq, but how to get some btc to start - not sure it’s possible to get a “burner” phone here, use a btc atm and just feed in some cash. Anyone know/ already done this? I thought I might sell my tallow soap for btc to get going but I am just not making at a volume that would make sense at this point - maybe in future. No big deal, just trying to feather my great grandchildren’s nests 😎😂 🧡💜

Good evening plebs! Are any of you beauties knowledgeable in the area of off grid rural water solutions? Crux: water is life. On farm, in kitchen, babies, gardens, animals, laundry, dishes, bathing, water is everything. To 👆sovereignty, one must do what one can to secure the water supply! In 2022 I started looking into getting us set up on some kind of solar well water backup, but I didn’t have much success. The solar electrical companies I tried thought I was an environmentalist who wanted to tie into grid for some shit rebate system OR were too urban to understand rural well water pressure tanks. Someone, somewhere must have figured this out already: most efficient and cost effective way to get 240v submersible well pump (plus pressure tank) on solar backup. I already have a propane genny. I want to be able to draw water silently, no fuel but the sun, when the grid is down. Like it was for the past three days here 😳 Cheers #plebchain - May your water be ever secure.

I’m not super interested in talking about nostr or even bitcoin (😮) because for me it’s a settled fact of life that I stack sats. Where are my frens? Who is making weekendy plans to do homesteadish things? Anyone down for making some soap on nostr? Maybe pressure can some Yukon golds for hash browns on Sundays? There has to be a purple place to chat about important matters like which varieties of tomatoes for this year; Solar freezer backups etc.
