Happy New Year 🎊

2025 is over. I finished setting up and deleting wallets to fully focus on my 2026 goal. I accomplished a lot. I published two short stories, "Nerissa and the Uranet Slasher" and "Rendering Point," but I'm disappointed that I didn't finish a long story. Hopefully, I will release more stories in 2026 and finally grasp writing. One of my big goals is to try to shed the passive lifestyle next year and be fully proactive. I can't just let all the festivities pass me by!

Got lucky and was able to get both Ye Shunguang and her W-Engine in 5 pulls. Definitely doesn't beat last year getting a double Miyabi pull but I'm glad to not have made a dent in the war chest. Gotta save as much as possible so I can get all three of the Angels of Delusions or realistically just Aria and her W-Engine. (⁠´⁠-⁠﹏⁠-⁠`⁠；⁠) #Gamestr #ZZZero

For 2026, I hope the new web will fully embrace its newness. I understand that you need to keep some old web staples for those who are used to the old web. (Readable links and ICANN domains, for example.) However, part of creating a new web should be changing things fundamentally. Why limit ourselves to the same conventions? Why not push further to tap into the limitless potential of this new frontier? We should change the way websites are read and move away from ICANN so people can express more freedom with their domains. Digital identification feels limited when you have to stick to the remains of the dot-com bubble. Move past the Web 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 designations to simply "Old Web" (1983–2025) and "New Web" (2026–present). It's difficult to fool myself into believing change is happening when all I see are cages of the past.

Shunrai Table Tennis is a good first chapter. All the Marty Supreme hype has me itching for more Table Tennis media so this was a perfect time to release a new manga series. The fact that it's informative too is a plus. Mirai is a fun character. Seeing her get her spark back made me want to continue this series. I wonder if it's going into the realm of players having "Special Moves" and go more realistic. It's hints at that with Lightning Bolt but it didn't seem like she did a special swing at all. #Mangastr

Merry Christmas 🎄

Act one of ZEZTZ was pretty good. This show definitely attacks all my micro niches that I'm into. It does feel like we finally exited the prologue into the real meat of the show which judging the new visual seems to be C.O.D.E vs Knightmares. (The Lady = Agent 1?) Im glad Nox is continuing be an antagonizing force. It would have been disappointing if he turned this quickly. I do hope the paranormal sector gets more involved with the dream plot instead of being stuck in the real world. Excited to see what comes next! #Tokustr

Nice Haha, You Clowns got greenlit for two more seasons! It is deserved as it's a great show. With this and Common Side Effects getting a season 2, it feels like we're about to enter an Adult Swim Renaissance! Great shows that just keep the lineup fresh while showcasing the potential of adult animation. #TVstr

Episode 1 of the Nukitashi dub is out! It definitely enhances the viewing experience for me watching in dub. I'm very inclined to laugh more towards the punchy dub scripts since I just get more of the humor than watching subtitles(PARKOUR!) Although I did roll my eyes hearing "instagoon" tho (⁠눈⁠‸⁠눈⁠). Some of the voices were iffy to me but it didn't bring down the overall quality. It's a great watch. Can't wait for episode 2 next week #Animestr

I decided to check out Love Bullet to see what all the hype is about. It's a pretty novel idea. I definitely enjoy the fact that they use guns instead of bows and arrows. (Chiyo is my favorite Cupid of the bunch) It feels like the plot of a fun mobile game released during the 2010s. I wonder if it would be better if they restarted their lives instead of continuing as is. It would be awkward to be thrown back into life with the potential for everyone you know to be gone. I enjoyed it enough that I'm going to pick up the second volume. #Mangastr

Besides all the game awards discourse, seeing how Exposition 33 release a "Thank You" update after winning Game of the Year made me nostalgic for Game of the Year editions. Even though awards shows aren't that reliable, I always liked that companies took all the patches and updates since release and package them in a brand new "Game of the Year Edition" disc with a cheaper cost to ride the momentum of people saying "This can't be that good??!". It felt healthy for the industry especially since majority people only by 1-2 games a year. Maybe Geoff could push for a revival next year? #Gamestr

I can't believe Nukitashi is getting an English Dub?! I would believe it's the same level as being in a dub for Redo of Healer. A résumé killer. It's a real welcome surprise to see and now I can recommend it to my friend since he only watches dubs. Time for a rewatch! (⁠ ⁠╹⁠▽⁠╹⁠ ⁠) #Animestr

Shogun's Ninja was a great film! It's entertaining throughout, like a gem you find in a Blu-ray bin. The cast of characters was strong, too. Okyo was probably my favorite character. There were surprisingly more casualties on the "good side" than I was expecting. I wonder if it will be released physically over here in America. #Filmstr

Blackfox: Age of the Ninja was fun. It definitely evoked sense of nostalgia for watching old kung fu VHS tapes as a kid. The cheesy English dub did help with that. I was surprised by how fast-paced the movie was, and before I knew it, it was already over. Did feel disappointed the enemies didn't really have any cool techniques like Rikka's nine tailed hurricane. It's definitely a movie to watch with friends and have a good time. #Filmstr

The ominous music in the latest episode of The Lenticulars makes me feel like I'm not watching ing the show correctly. Perhaps the music is related to the B episodes, and this scene will make more sense when they air? Only time will tell. #Animestr
