Dropping a take here that would get me crucified IRL. Thanks nostr.
80s and 90s punk is just low effort rock music, usually with poor production quality. The kind of stuff any kid could make in their bedroom today. Punk music didnt begin to develop a unique identity until the early 2000s.
Running sound tonight for a corporate Christmas party situation in the music industry. Expecting 175-200 headcount, each with a set of trained ears. 9 bands, all different genres. 15 minute sets. 27 lines. So much entropy and so many consequences for it getting amplified. If I can make this show sound good all night..im gonna be so stoked.
First jam with hopefully a new band today. First time since covid. First time playing with a competent human drummer in probably nearly a decade.
We literally just jammed in a basement over three chords most of the time. It was amazing.
