After so many years being in the space, finally attending a conference - I could not have picked a better one - has felt like coming home and reconnecting with friends that I actually had not actually met. Super inspiring, fun and signal-rich day of talks, and great events around the town, with ⚽️ 🏆and ☀️🍻 later today. Kuddos to @Peter McCormack @Danny Knowles and team for putting together this very special event while putting Bedford on the map by just doing things.

I think it isn’t - all it is is money that treats everyone the same - and we have to figure out how to take advantage of it not only as individuals but as communities and society, to reinforce the commons not destroy them.

Nostr will provide value converting to IRL interactions. Legacy social media provides advertising converting to online transactions. Last day at work yesterday. New chapter starting.

If you hold it long enough, Bitcoin becomes part of your personal story - mentally, socially, emotionally and financially. Then of your family story. At that stage you start feeling the need to make it part of your community’s story.

Got a zap notification from Damus but no zaps in Damus or primal - weird. Using my primal lnurl to receive zaps, what might be the issue?

So what I still miss from X is the research and creative communities I follow around graphics, design, AI and robotics. How do we get them here gradually then suddenly? What can make nostr a better tool to share and discuss artistic and technical progress?
