Because I don't participate in the election cycle at all, voting is actually cheap for me. About the same time cost as getting groceries. Voting harder people would probably take issue with this: "you need to be freaked out and fighting on the internet every day". Never vote people do too: "you need to be freaked out and fighting the system every day." I think it's well balanced. Instead of hundreds of hours, I spend one. Instead of zero hours, I spend one. Compared with both groups, I probably spend less time overthinking it, because I spend one hour. No voting people probably spend near as much time as voting harder people. Not me. #Nostr only = no election cycle

Getting lambasted with election news or social media is a red flag that you have not done the work online to opt our. On #Nostr only, I didn't hear about elections at all. The brethren in my church urged me to vote. I used two seperate #AI to come up with voting selection based on my values. Total thing took an hour including casting my ballot. I think a lot of people get hit over and over with online material, then in dispair and disgust they decide not to vote. I recommend flipping that: eliminate all election cycle news, and then spend a total of an hour when a real election comes.
