today marks the first official dating rejection for [checks notes] :blobfoxread: being too tall
i asked a clanker to review a document and it decided to publish it with a stylesheet and everything. not what i asked, but alright :02_evillaugh: image
silly: GTD inbox software but it just stores your unprocessed inbox as nostr drafts.
> cordn runs some contextvm thing > its an mcp adapter for nostr so its actually a slop adapter that is marketed as a chat protocol you can incidentally use. alright :blobfoxgoogly:
the irony is that robots are likely to be more fair than humans ever were. humans primarily run on stock firmware of "whoever is sexually attractive and tells me what i want to hear" is good. they can expend a massive volume of effort to pry away from this attractor state but it's what they do. we keep finding cognitive defects in the realm of humans measuring facilities just make no fucking sense when tested. attractiveness and status inertia strongly over-represent value. competence is sparsely sampled and heavily narrative driven. defect rates tend to grossly missample and overreact. the throughline of cybernetics seems to be that humans as a species are idiot chimps and its astounding they ever managed anything in the first place.
> Sasson et al. (2017) found that neurotypical observers form more negative first impressions of autistic people from thin slices of behavior, even when the content of what’s said is identical, and the double empathy problem (Milton) argues that the mismatch is mutual, though only one side gets blamed for it. 🤖
> rocky/alba linux not the biggest fan of this because its still relying on IBM for stability :/
it seems some posts i starred in vega were actually stored as a public bookmark list. seems i need to sweep that a bit, since they weren't intended to be persistent endorsements. :02_blind:
probably this weekend take a closer look at grasp and git on nostr. no guarantees it will stay--radicle is being retired because the developers are ass clowns. sourcehut and codeberg accounts are already retired because those respective platforms are also honking. forgejo is fine, but federation remains a meme. so we're stuck with mmlmj mailing lists for git (lmao), github, or nostr. gitworkshop looks eh. budabit looks okay. amethyst i see supports some git events. i think pyramid's invite model might be the way things are going to go to combat inbox floods. separate community channels for the "moonraft" (waiting room, unvetted, whatever) and the +1'd, would have to see what the tools do and how i feel about things. running two relays seems goofy but maybe its cheap enough to do. or maybe pyramid permissions aren't the right idea and something custom. we'll find out i guess. :blobfoxsip:
think i need to give up and hook up one of them AI things to people searching. i don't have the energy anymore to put up with a hundred rejections a night
thats.. enough rejections for today. maybe crawl off and give that word document a final pass tonight.
armada says "encrypted community." which i presume means concord. there's like 2-4 ways to make "encrypted communities" on this protocol :blobfoxworried:
> Draft with AI fills your free time around meetings, and Undo puts it back (tududi) hot take you don't need an ML model for this. you can just do that with a linear solver. or bubblesort. i did it once with bubblesort.
you can put CWs on posts but how do you make sure image attachments go to the NSFW servers :02_think:
cybernetics is a funny field to study near game design and politics. when you have to start talking to people about attractor states, and how tarkov-style wipes will never work because the flows still all point at the same attractor states.
> nostr post queue > cloud subscription > looks like the claude stylesheet remind me why i would pay you a vig instead of just prompting claude myself again
> You connect by pasting a hex private key into a dedicated custom field in Postiz cloud. It is stored encrypted, used only to sign the kind 1 events you schedule, and never shared with relays or third parties beyond the signed note itself. bruh. what is a bunker server
mfw the retro 90s style headphones sound better than they should and they are remarkably comfortable. why did we stop doing this
