GM Mr Woodpecker.
GM. Our house is currently surrounded by yellow.

I briefly met the great @knutsvanholm
yesterday in Bedford and he persuaded me to part with some sats to buy a couple of his books. Having started to read this one, I am wondering where he got the names for this particular example of the prisoner’s dilemma from. Craig and Calvin seem strangely familiar.

They say bear markets are for building. So I built something. This little bit of cedar shingle roofing is a practice run before I attempt the house, which is a slightly bigger challenge.

For once, the sign appears to be accurate.

The biggest prog metal bitcoin band in the world (probably) is on tour next month. Come see them in London!

I have a fairly large tax refund incoming from HMRC. Looks like I’ll be able to put it to good use.
Many think Faketoshi’s games are over. I’m not so sure. I think he will attempt a comeback. Be prepared.

Have you arrived at your opinion based on weighing up competing evidence and arguments for yourself or by observing what the consensus opinion is (or should be) on the subject and following that? If it's the latter, your opinion on the subject is obviously worthless.
Now the question is: what subject am I referring to?
Really confusing but entertaining.

GM. The river is very murky, high and fast flowing today. It was a quick, dirty and chilly swim. Very invigorating.
I learned only this week that the great Steve Albini left us in 2024. How I missed this I have no idea. Maybe I was too caught up in Bitcoin nonsense. Anyway, the point is that he died suddenly of a heart attack aged 61. I’m only a few years off that myself. It really makes me wonder what tf I’m doing and maybe I should think about making the most of it. Regardless, listen to this latest and last album from Shellac. This album came out only a few days after he passed. RIP Steve. Legend.

Slightly disappointed that Scardust didn’t make the cut here but pleased that Igorrr came top. Well worth checking out if you like a bit of prog metal, especially if you’re into destroying pianos.
