It’s been pretty fun actively finding places on @Cash App Bitcoin map to eat at. I onboarded a few of my friends and family to use the app. I have never felt this much of a momentum push towards using Bitcoin in everyday life. Really cool to see
Worth a watch to support MyLifeOutdoors YouTube channel. When Steven announced his wife was diagnosed with cancer, Luke from OutdoorBoys offered to upload a video to his channel in support of Steven. Love to see it
curious what software bitcoiners like to use for doing taxes on taxable bitcoin transactions? And does everyone use FIFO for the cost basis? I sometimes need to use sats to usd for big purchases. Any thoughts? @preston@jack mallers@jack
"There is a reality that human beings cannot continue to be compensated for their finitely scarce time in a form of money that it cost nothing to produce"
Incredible to hear people talking about how the Fed is “predicting a recession” as if they can predict anything. Good thing they are centrally managing the economy with their magical predictive powers
idk what Google is thinking with this Bard nonsense, but they need to rebrand this thing as Jarvis and have it running on every google search people make and stop bing in its tracks if they want to retain search dominance. It’s like watching a giant fall in slow motion.
It would be cool to have an extension of some sort that would take your nostr post and also post to your twitter account. Probably requires the twitter api and big $$ I’m guessing?
super interesting take on detriments of using “clean code” methods:
tldr
— inefficient—
- polymorphism
- internals
- small functions
- functions do 1 thing
all slow performance by as much as 15x w/out implementing any specific performance enhancement features
—fine—
-dry
keep it it’s a good idea, doesn’t change performance
