This is a much different Egypt than the one you were shown in your history books. Were the pyramids built on top of ancient tree stumps like these maps of Cairo show?

The Shushtar Historical Hydraulic System, located in Iran's Khuzestan province, is an ancient Sasanian-era irrigation system that includes 13 dams, bridges, and canals. This complex engineering feat was designed to divert the Karun River to irrigate agricultural lands and supply water to the city. The system is renowned for its sophisticated design, which includes tunnels and watermills, and is considered a unique and impressive example of ancient water management.

The Church of St. John of Nepomuk in Munich, built in the 18th century by the Asam brothers. The Asam brothers, who were both architects as well as artists, originally built the church as their private chapel, but the public insisted it be opened for all to see. The frescoes were created using quadratura, a technique that uses perspective and "deceive the eye" to create the illusion of three-dimensional space on a flat surface. This makes the church's barrel-vaulted ceiling appear to open up into the heavens. Just look at this work of art. Yes a bit dark and creepy! And they used to be able to build like this!

It might be hard to believe because these are found everywhere today, but your light environment REALLY matters. This old video perfectly captures the effects of blue lights on attention span which can lead to common symptoms like: Headache, eyestrain, stress, trouble focusing or sustaining attention, fatigue, irritability etc. Kinda sounds like a lot of symptoms of ADHD/ADD, right?

What is Hackmanite Hackmanite is a rare sulfur chloric sodium aluminum silicate member of the Sodalite family. It crystallizes in the form of masses, cubic and octahedral formations. This is one of the very few minerals that is tenebrescence (changes color when exposed to sunlight), as well as UV reflective. It can be seen in a variety of colors such as grey, green, yellow, violet, pink, and blue, but most commonly found in a dusty white. Hackmanite was first discovered in Greenland by L.H. Borgstroem in 1901. He named it after the famed Finnish Geologist, Victor Axel Hackman. Important deposits of Hackmanite are located in Afghanistan, Myanmar, Canada, Norway and Russia.

#Old #world #Sydney, #Australia, all photos are from before 1900. This was done to highlight just how improbable the narrative of the founding of Australia was. Does this really look like a city that was once a penal colony a short time ago?

The giant limbs of these trees that did petrify are hidden in the hillsides, mountainsides, and in plain sight. We were just too oblivious to see.

One was built with no power tools, no heavy machinery, and a much smaller population but took about half the time of the one built today. Does this narrative make any sense to you? image

They call it the dark ages but it was the golden age. Everything they teach us though is branded for a very specific reason. Teach us a his story that erases the advanced civilizations of our past and dismisses the magnificent architecture of that period as built by people living in squalor but they were all magnificent architects, builders, and masons. image
