Steam Deck is a very interesting piece of engineering. I've been using it for a few months but I cannot yet recommend the devices to "normies", just wait for the second version. To use the Deck you still need to have an engineering mindset and try to figure out why the games are not running as expected or why they crash. Normally by when you do figure that out you'll probably lose interest on playing the game. I have tried to install Windows11, it works "as expected" but some games will tell you that they are not compatible with the device and some other games will not detect the device controller or will be buggy. Keep in mind that the Deck is more than just a handheld console, it's a fully customizable PC, which means that if you have an engineering mindset it can be a good product for you. For sure Steam is doing a good job with this product, but it's just a matter of one or two iterations more to be a good product for "normies".

Nostr seems way better than mainstream social networks, for sure there are improvements to be done, but it does not feel addictive and bots have a bigger propose than spamming. What should be improved on Nostr?

For some reason it brings more joy buying 100 000sats instead of 0.001BTC. Even knowing that the value is the same, it feels different when visualizing it in sats. Should sats be the default denomination in the space?

I have been saving fiat for a frew years to buy my first home and I (almost) made it. When I reached the savings goal I called the agent and the price of the flat went up by ~47%, the home market went up by ~12% and the fiat savings had a 10% less purchasing power compared to 2021. That was my conviction story to save using Bitcoin instead of fiat moneis. What was yours?
