Teamwork can live our difficult lives easier.
How we live without spending the money.
Watching Meichel Saylor full speech, now heading to the Grand Prix to watch.

I began my new book project a few days ago and am still gathering brainstorming data.
This morning, I checked my bank, received my monthly book royalties from my three published works, invested in ethical ( ?), and watched Grand Prix players warm up for the weekend.

Training in kendo has taught me valuable lessons that apply to investing—staying calm, being patient, and remaining humble.

Training in martial arts reminds me to stay young and be a good person. Afterward, I went a party, a friend once said, “I wish I could make money even while I sleep.” I believe this is possible for everyone now…

Researching investment opportunities—now it’s time for a swim!

I hope these books pique your interest and resonate with the journey and insights within their pages. Whether you’re a seasoned kendoka or someone curious about the art, my hope is that these stories will offer both inspiration and perspective, illuminating the way kendo can shape and strengthen one’s life.
Kendo is more than a martial art; it is a way of life. For me, it has been a steadfast companion, guiding me through triumphs and trials, illuminating my path with its discipline, philosophy, and unwavering spirit. From the first moment I held a shinai, I sensed that kendo was something greater than a sport—it was a journey of the soul, a practice that would challenge, humble, and ultimately transform me.
In Kendo is My Light, I share the lessons, experiences, and moments that have shaped my life within the dojo and beyond. This is not just a story about achieving titles or passing tests; it is a story about the profound impact that kendo has had on my identity, my relationships, and my understanding of resilience and strength. Through the art of kendo, I have learned not only to stand with courage but also to bow with grace, to listen deeply, and to fight fiercely for what matters.
This book is for those who seek more than technique in kendo, for those drawn to its depth of spirit and the light it can bring to one’s life. It is my hope that these stories inspire others to find their own inner light through kendo and to carry it forward, illuminating their paths and those of others along the way.

I have always lived life on my own terms, taking control of my path. I work hard and play hard, finding joy while managing whatever resources I have. Over the years, I devoted myself to working for bosses, professors, priests, and senseis, striving to build trust and prove my worth. However, when my efforts weren’t appreciated, I made the difficult decision to leave. Each time, I had to start over, climbing from the bottom to the top, paying the price for staying true to myself.
I have never compromised my values, truth, or passion in my pursuit to become exceptional in my field. Every time I refused to follow someone’s misguided ideas, chaos ensued. Some did everything in their power to block my success. I didn’t let it faze me. Even when I lost everything, I knew how to rebuild. It took me ten years, at a minimum, to restart and rise again. Despite the pain, I never blamed anyone. In the end, I realized that every hardship became a valuable experience.
Still, the journey was brutally lonely and difficult. I faced failure and rejection daily, often from the very people I hoped to work with. Yet, I kept searching for genuine, trustworthy individuals to collaborate with. Until I found them, I focused on moving forward. I encouraged my husband to adopt the same mindset: never work with people who lack good character. Never sacrifice your integrity for others. Instead, find those who align with your values.
One essential lesson I’ve learned is the importance of distinguishing between self-sabotage and self-control. Kendo taught me this. Losing is often the best teacher, and when you persevere, the rewards will eventually come. So, to anyone reading this: keep going. The road may be long and lonely, but the destination is worth it. Stay true to yourself, and you will succeed. Real success is freedom from everything! Be happy.

A wonderful night after hard work!
