This is an original song called "Away from Home" and it was written during what I think was the darkest period of my life. 2 full-time jobs, basically never seeing my kids for more than 30 minutes a day before they sleep 5 days a week, too exhausted to do anything with them during the other two days. This is what I hope I can do again someday when I can make enough money to have the time for it. There are no instruments in this track at all. Every part is my voice and nothing but my voice, from the beat, to the "instruments" that are all done through overtone singing. It was done using a loop pedal. That loop pedal doesn't work anymore. My current music format was largely my desperate attempt to compress all of this into a single take, and to be able to do it on the fly with whatever time available. I've definitely evolved as a musician for it, but I definitely miss the bigger arrangements too.

For some reason I cannot upload shorts on @Amethyst. I have been trying to upload the same short for the past hour to no avail.

My apologies to anybody who was trying to tune into that livestream I just did. I was running it on @Shosho – Live Stream on Nostr on my phone and I just kept getting disconnected from ther server despite being at home and 10 feet from the WiFi router. Not sure what was going on.

I think, at this rate, that I am going to be dramatically reducing the number of uploads I put on Normie tube. This morning's upload got 16 views since 10am my time. But it had 168% playthrough... Meaning that it was rewatched by nearly every person that found it, but youtube couldn't be bothered to show it to more people. I understand that my content is super niche and not everyone's thing. But "people are watching this over and over" should tell the algo to show the video more if you are going to have an algo. But it doesn't. I'm sick of wasting my breath on them. My only interest in YouTube at this point is pulling them over to nostr. With that being said, does anyone have a suggestions for a client to advertise on my YouTube videos to pull them over here? #asknostr My current videos have my @darkwisp qr code, but clearly that was an error because most of them can't even find me by that according to some of the users in my comments. I need a very reliable pipeline to feed them into without proselytizing nostr itself. They just need to login and see videos.

Proton mail is a trap. This is their VPN by the way, the one I've been using for the past few months, just spontaneously locking me out for no reason. Nostr needs a real email system that ACTUALLY works and can converse with the conventional system without a mountain of secondary steps. I'm done with this garbage.
